  • Sofía is here !

Posted on August 11th, 2006 Pablo No comments

Sofía Ana Isabel was born August 11th, 2006 at 18:10. She weighted 3.710 kg, measured 50cm. She came with a head full of hair and she brought pure joy to the family.

Sofía, her mom and her dad are all happy and doing more than fine. Carolina and Pablo are slowly getting down to this incredible business of parenthood, which is quite fun, very rewarding, and perhaps a tad exhausting, specially when one does not yet know very well neither what the problem is, nor the range of possible solutions.

Anyhow, so far, so good! Much better than good! Will keep you all posted.

Our good friend Molly was in Nice taking some french language classes. On her way back to the US, she made a little detour and passed a few days with us in Brussels. It was really nice to have her with us, hopefully next time Patrick will come as well !-)

Do técnico Carlos Alberto Parreira, que escalou mal o time !

  • The US Supreme Court Blocks Trials at Guantánamo

The Supreme Court today delivered a sweeping rebuke to the Bush administration, ruling that the military tribunals it created to try terror suspects violate both American military law and the Geneva Conventions.

Vamos Ronaldinho!

  • Tirar de orejas

Posted on June 25th, 2006 Pablo No comments

“D” for “Delivery”. Seems quite a big deal from here! Some pics of Carolina with 34 weeks. To compare with the pictures of 27 weeks look here.

Posted on June 5th, 2006 Pablo No comments

  • Websites as graphs ?

Posted on June 4th, 2006 Pablo No comments

Here is a neat graphic visualization of my blog. The different nodes represent different html tags. Each color has a different meaning: links are in blue, tables in red, DIVs in green, images in violet, and so forth. Quite an interesting representation, don’t you think ?

You can view the graph and how it is created by clicking on the image…
